Meet Our Co-Founders:
A serial entrepreneur and visionary leader, Mark Grindeland has always looked to the horizon to stay ahead of what was coming next. Before co-founding Altum Investments, Mark worked in both large global public companies and start-ups. Prior to Altum Investments, Mark served as the Chief Marketing Officer for global customer experience technology and services company TeleTech Holdings (Nasdaq TTEC), overseeing branding, corporate and marketing strategy, product development, as well as internal and external marketing communications. Prior to joining TeleTech, Mark served as chairman and co-founder of ShesConnected Multimedia Corporation, the first multi-profile social networking site for women. In previous years, he held executive-level positions with Live Wire Mobile, was CEO of Wunderman in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Sr. Vice President at Digitas, and co-founder of Exchange Partners. He also co-founded and served as Executive Vice President of marketing for m-Qube Incorporated. (sold to Verisign in 2006 for $250 million).
In 2013, Mark was honored by the Business Marketing Association of Colorado as “Marketer of the Year”. Mark has served on the Advisory board for the Daniels Business College and speaks at numerous industry conferences on strategy, marketing, entrepreneurship and innovation.
An innovator and real estate entrepreneur, Elizabeth Cooke brings unique business acumen to investment projects. Before Co-Founding Altum Investments Inc., Ms. Cooke had 32 years of entrepreneurial experience including over a decade focused on real estate. She bought her first property in 2008, a single condo unit. She now holds a diverse portfolio of properties ranging from multifamily to industrial. Elizabeth founded ELCO Investments, Inc. in 2012 to help individuals like herself navigate the complex world of real estate.
In 2010, Ms. Cooke moved back to Denver from New York City to invest in commercial real estate. Her investments included a 20,000 square foot warehouse and retail store. Before moving back to Denver Ms. Cooke was a psychotherapist in New York City for 25 years. In addition to her private practice, she designed and directed mental health clinics, a year-round educational program, and a small school for inner city children.
